Day 3, Monday 4th August – Blue Mountains and Central Coast
Post Office Clock in Cootamundra still strikes on the hourOk, so the reason I chose Cootamundra for the night is obvious to other people as well πββοΈ But no donuts π, what’s a bloke to do. Biscoff Croissant to the rescueHad a Malfunction Indicator Light “MIL”Β aka Check Engine Light make its presence known yesterday. Traced to LHS rear indicator bulb, so threw out the left hand a few times and continued on. Found the Repco on my walk last night, but when I parked up out front and got the screwdriver out the bulb was just looseπ , so there $1.90 saved towards the motorcycle fund!Contrails in CowraPic at Mount Panorama for the trip sponsor!π60 kph on the sidecar is a LOT different than on the RT around the track. As I left about 12 NSW Police solo’s on RT’s were arriving. Not that the sidecar would have bothered themπ
Got cold, and wet, as I gambled and lost heading over the Blue Mountains, not stopping and putting on my rain pants. I could see the blue skies ahead…
Scavenger HuntingWas an interesting run up the Pacific Motorway at 6pm. Glad to have the new LED tail light on the tub as I mixed it with northbound truckies in the slow lanes. Rounded up a few, and got rounded up by a few more π
Dinner at the Bateau Bay Hotel, $16- Double Wagyu Burger Monday Night Special. Buccaneer Motel at the entrance caught my eye as it started raining again…
