Day 37, Sunday 7th September – Deniliquin to Home

Not much to add here, light rain from Deni to Kyabram. Managed to avoid the worst of the rain as I took Dad through the photo’s from the trip.

The bike had 1 more trick up its sleeve- I had noticed that the horn wasn’t working  and causing the bike to react if I hit the button while moving.

With the engine stopped there was no reaction , and no horn noise.

Fast forward 2 hours and the bike wouldn’t start. It would turn over, but not fire. I had just filled up, so it had fuel. So, off with the side panel and into the fuse box.

Replace fuse 4 with fuse 6 and she fired right up, admittedly without any running lights…

Couldn”t get the side cover back on so threw it in the sidecar and went around the corner and spent $3 on a pack of fuses to bring back the running lights.

Good tail wind saw us travel at 90 kmh on the way into Melbourne. Wind was a  very aggressive side wind going past Essendon Airport runway – happy I had some weight in the tub.

Home at 5pm, unpacked by 6, load of washing and a shower before dinner at 730pm. Bed by 930pm…

Spring is here, grass is a foot high in places

Will do a wrap up post in a day ir two
