Dropped the bike off at 9 ish and proceeded to the local shopping centre for breakfast.

Got bored after an hour so took off for one of 3 botanic gardens in Townsville -The Palmettum.

Hard to forget that Townsville is a garrison town when you hear Blackhawks and Jets flying around. No photos of the jets – do you know how hard it is for someone dead in one ear to directionalise jets with heavy tree canopy cover?

Got the bus into the Strand late in the arvo

And then caught an Uber back to the hotel in Aitkenvale for dinner
