Pre planned rest day, happily coinciding with some needed maintenance.Well, removal of mudguard…

Section of bracket broken off and missing, between my fingers
Previous weld job, central bit only staying in place coz of build up of weld around it on both sides. Bracket broken above hole. This was the original issue discovered just before leaving Melbourne, and had clearly been broken for a while with the evidence of stress fractures around it
Pre existing Stress fractures
Stress cracking around the top mounting hole of the rear facing light assembly. Had added mudguard/panel washers to it a couple of days ago

Where the tyre had rubbed and caught on the nut of the broken mount. Got a but lucky here, much lower and we would be down a tyre/wheel change as well
