Day 14, Friday 15th August – Mossman to Lakeland

Lazy start today since we were catching up with Liz’s school friend Annabel and her husband Paul at their house 10 mins north of Mossman.

The estate they are in is called Port Douglas Views and you can see why.

This range is called Sleeping Man, and if you look carefully and squint a bit you can see why

Annabel and Paul are only just back in their house after water ingress from Cyclone Jasper.

With a quick stop for a drink at Mt Carbine Hotel where we had stopped 23 years ago on a day trip from Port Douglas with Henry @ 1 yr old😉
