Day 13, Thursday 14th August – The Bruce Part 2

On the road in good time, today was another Bruce Highway transport leg, Townsville to Mossman

Cairns ring road was medium busy as we wandered around just a touch😁

A local friend of Liz’s had warned us about the stop go traffic between Cairns and Port Douglas due to roadworks and lane closures. Wasn’t too bad when we went through, but the bulk of the traffic was heading south bound

Dinner at the Surfy’s in Port Douglas, where the wind had picked up quite a bit
Who can go past a bucket of prawns for $25-!
AND they had Heineken Zero at #1 position on the menu;

A quick 20 mins in the dark amongst the cane harvest trucks saw us into Mossman for the night
