Bluetooth UHF ROCKS!

Bluetooth UHF on the left, Delorme In Reach on the right, Phone goes in the middle on the Quadlock holder where it gets charged on the move

It’s taken a week, but after a few chats with Google Gemini, I finally have the Cardo PackTalk Edge /  Pixel 6 / GME XRS 660 Bluetooth UHF and XRS Bluetooth Push To Talk Button all working together such that I have

  1. Intercom with Liz’s Cardo Packtalk (via DMC) Just talk back and fwds without pressing buttons
  2. Interact with the Pixel 6 via Google Gemini for hands free Spotify, Google Maps navigation & Phone Calls  (Still only works with”Fuck you Google!” as keyword trigger though 😁)
  3. Hear UHF conversations as priority over the above. And use the XRS PTT Button to transmit. Used it today to talk with a truckie to get him around us safely. He was genuinely impressed!

When any UHF conversation finishes I can hit a button on the Cardo and it’s back to music or Convo with Liz.
