202 On Tour

Balladonia RH to Nullarbor RH with stops in Caiguna for breakfast and Mundrabilla for lunch.

With a forecast top of 33 Degrees Celsius at our destination today it was time to break out the thongs. Another first, never before have I driven/ridden a single km of the Eyre Highway in a thong of any description😁.

Today was one of those days that looks good on paper but takes some effort in real life to execute. 715 kms, with a loss of 1.5 hours as we head east.

Sacrifices included the earliest alarm of the trip, 6.30am WA 😁,  having a sit down breakfast and lunch 😉, and revisiting some of the Great Australian Bight lookouts 😁 before a 5pm SA arrival

After spending last night in the same room as we did on the way over (Balladonia), we’re now doing the same at Nullarbor (for our 3rd night).

Doing the math for tomorrow’s destination I was genuinely surprised to find Kimba is 600kms away.

I had in my head, 700 today, and then 500, 500 and 230 in the days ahead. It’s actually 600, 500, 500, 230 in the days ahead (pending any shortcuts 😉)

##Late update## No channel 7 here for the Season 10 opener of Outback Truckers 😫.  Will need to break out the free Wifi and hope the 1024 mb gets it done😁
