The Rainy Day

Balladonia to Esperance via Norseman.

Rained off and on all day, so when we got to Esperance we got the “Rainy day List” from the Tourist info centre.

Of the 10 things on the list 3 were closed for winter. 3 were closed on Mondays, 2 were distilleries, and Mum didn’t want to go to the doll museum, so the 20 km tourist drive won the day.

An early Chinese takeaway for dinner so i could squeeze in a night out at the “Stand Up Comedy Gold”on for one night only ,- tonight!

Had a moment of fear when the ticket checker greeted me by name, eek , not good at a comedy show. Turns out i was the only single ticket holder out of the 50 or so people in attendance.

4 comedians for close to two hours – definitely got my $28 worth and was home by 9!
